Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Freedom Map collects, how that information is used, and the choices you have. It describes how the product works today.

1. Information you provide

• email address and account credentials used to sign in
• any name or profile details you choose to enter
• answers you give in the free Knowledge Advantage assessment
• niche, customer, product and business information you enter in the platform
• content, notes and materials you create or save inside the platform
• AI adviser conversations and the outputs generated for you
• support messages you send us

2. Payment information

Membership payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered into Stripe's secure checkout and are handled by Stripe — The Freedom Map does not receive or store full card numbers. We store limited billing records such as your customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, billing period dates, payment status and the email associated with the purchase, so we can grant and maintain your membership access.

3. The free Knowledge Advantage assessment

If you use the free assessment, we store the answers you provide, the email address you submit, the personalized result generated for you, and basic source information indicating that the record came from the assessment.

When you submit your email there, you are told that we will save and send your result and that you may also receive occasional practical and promotional Freedom Map emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting support@thefreedommap.com. Marketing consent is never required in order to buy or keep a paid membership.

4. Automatically collected information

When you visit the site or use the platform, our hosting and infrastructure providers process standard technical information as part of delivering the service, which may include:

• device and browser information
• IP address and server log information
• pages or features accessed and basic usage events
• referral or source information about how you arrived
• error and diagnostic data used to keep the service working

5. How information is used

• provide, operate and personalize the service
• generate the AI outputs you request
• create and maintain your account and saved work
• process memberships, payments, renewals and cancellations
• provide customer support and respond to your messages
• improve reliability, security and product quality
• send service and account communications
• send marketing or educational emails where you have consented, subject to unsubscribe
• detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse and security issues
• comply with legal obligations

6. AI processing

To produce the outputs you ask for, the information you enter — such as assessment answers, business details and adviser messages — may be transmitted to AI and model service providers that process it on our behalf. Those providers handle the data under their own terms and privacy commitments, and we do not claim that they never retain inputs. Avoid entering sensitive personal information you would not want processed by a third-party AI provider.

7. Service providers

We use third parties to run the service, in these categories:

• payment processing (Stripe)
• AI and model providers used to generate outputs
• hosting, database, authentication and infrastructure providers
• email delivery providers used for account and marketing email

These providers may access personal information only as needed to perform their services for us.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers. We share information only:

• with the service providers described above, to operate the service
• when required by law, regulation, subpoena or valid legal process
• to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents or harm
• to enforce our Terms of Service or protect legal rights
• in connection with a merger, acquisition or business transfer, where the receiving party must honor this policy
• with your direction or consent

9. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account and saved work, meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and maintain business records. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your account data by contacting support@thefreedommap.com; some billing records are kept where retention is legally required.

10. Your choices

• update your account information from inside the platform
• unsubscribe from marketing email at any time; this does not stop essential account or billing notices
• cancel your membership separately from marketing preferences — cancelling one does not change the other
• request help with access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us

11. Cookies and session technology

We use cookies and similar browser storage that are necessary to run the service — primarily to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and support secure checkout with Stripe. These are essential to the functionality you request. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels, so no consent banner is presented for those technologies.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls and server-side handling of secrets and payment data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children

The Freedom Map is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed to children. Do not use the service if you are under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract (at least 18 in most places). We do not knowingly collect information from children; if we learn we have, we will delete it.

14. U.S. state and other privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, email support@thefreedommap.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy on a prospective basis. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page, and where appropriate we will notify members by email.
